The first trailer of "Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS" recently premiered, offering a glimpse of the new protagonist named Fujiki Yusaku. Meanwhile, an advanced type of Virtual Reality (VR) Duel will be introduced through a new technology called VRAINS.

The sixth series of the "Yu-Gi-Oh!" anime franchise titled "VRAINS" will be premiering this week in Japan, and the first trailer was recently released to give fans of the series a glimpse of the new protagonist, Fujiki.

In reality, Fujiki is just an ordinary high-school student. But in the world of VR dueling, he will be the one to save the whole network.

According to the synopsis from The Organization, "VRAINS" will introduce a city called Den City where people learn to duel in the VR space known as LINK Virtual Reality Artificial Intelligence Network System (VRAINS). The advanced network technology was created by the corporation SOL Technology.

However, LINK VRAINS will become an unsafe network because of an underground hacker group called The Knights of Hanoi. This group hacks through dueling and aims to destroy the AI world known to everyone as Cyberse.

Fujiki enters LINK VRAINS as the Playmaker, the Duelist who stands up against the destruction and threat posed by The Knights of Hanoi. In his mission to bring down The Knights, Fujiki will discover the motives behind their planned destruction and uncover a dark incident from the past.

One of the advancements available in LINK VRAINS is a new type of summoning called Link Summon. This enables a Dueler to a special summoning of a link monster from the extra deck.

Another detail that excites fans of Yu-Gi-Oh!" is Fujiki's Ace Monster who uses a Great Sword in duels. The anime series has yet to reveal what special abilities the Ace Monster has and how Fujiki will use them in facing The Knights of Hanoi.

"Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS" premieres on Wednesday, May 10, in Japan.
