The acclaimed best video game of the year "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" has consistently provided its gamers with an immersive gaming experience. However, gamers and fans are still craving for more action from Naughty Dog. Because of this, the game developer decided to create some fresh content for the game's upcoming downloadable content (DLC).

"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" is set a couple of years after "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception."

"A Thief's End" tells the story of Nathan Drake as he retires from fortune hunting. Unfortunately, the protagonist didn't get to enjoy his retirement for long since he is reunited with his brother and longtime colleague in search for clues to the location of Captain Henry Avery's long-lost treasure.

Before "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" was launched, game developer Naughty Dog announced that avid fans of the franchise will get to enjoy a standalone game for "Uncharted 4" that is similar to "The Last of Us" "Left Behind" DLC.

It is said that fans weren't made aware of the upcoming DLC since the extra content only started development when "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" was close to its launch. Though "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" was just launched earlier this year, it's upcoming DLC is expected to be released just before 2016 ends.

The DLC will be focused on Nathan Drake's brother Samuel. It will also be longer that "Left Behind," according to recent speculations. Sully and Nathan will also be included in the DLC. However, the same cannot be said for Cassie — Nathan Drake's daughter — even if she was speculated to be the hero in the series.

As of now, there is still no official news from Naughty Dog as to when the "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" DLC will be released, but if rumors are true, fans can expect to enjoy the DLC in December.
