If "The Big Bang Theory" gets picked up for season 11, some of the actors may not return. Meanwhile, Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) might be having an important ceremony this season.

There have been speculations that a season 11 may not happen for "The Big Bang Theory" because of the actors' high salary demands. The cast of the show are among the highest paid comedy actors in television, and since their contracts are up, there's a possibility that some of them may not return.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Steve Molaro talked about how they are attacking season 10 productions with the uncertainty of the actors coming back for another season.

"All we can do right now is focus on season 10 and go script by script, which is what we would be doing anyway," said Molaro. When asked if the show would continue if one of the cast decides not to return, Molaro answered, "I have no idea. I think it would certainly be different and weird."

There have been no talks yet whether the show will go for an eleventh season. But Molaro explains that as long as he gets an early warning that season 10 is the show's last, he and his team would be able to make the remaining episodes meaningful for the characters of "The Big Bang Theory."

Previously in "The Big Bang Theory," Sheldon and Amy have moved in together at Penny's (Kaley Cuoco) apartment. The couple also seems to have smoothed out their living disagreements. Because of the advancements in their unconventional relationship, a Shamy (Sheldon and Amy) wedding is anticipated to happen in season 10.

However, Molaro refused to reveal if the two will tie the knot this season.

Molaro teased, "A ceremony takes place. It may not be as conventional as planned, but a ceremony will take place."

"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 airs every Thursday at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
