Newly divorced couple Tarek and Christina El Moussa are doing great in co-parenting their children, despite living apart. Meanwhile, the El Moussa's hit reality TV show "Flip or Flop" has been renewed for an eighth season.

Tarek and Christina announced in December last year that they are officially splitting. By January of 2017, the couple began processing divorce papers and are now living separately.

E! News reports that Tarek has left their family home in Yorba Linda, California, and purchased a bachelor pad in Newport Beach. While attending the All-Star Chef Classic at L.A. Live, Christina shared that she and Tarek are doing great at co-parenting.

"Tarek and I are in a very good place right now. We're doing a really good job. We share the kids 50/50 and our communication is great," the "Flip or Flop" star explains.

Christina adds she is also enjoying being a single mom and how her kids are very happy at the moment. "The kids are great. My son is literally like the happiest kid on the planet. ... Taylor is amazing. She's feisty and funny."

The harmonious relationship between Tarek and Christina also shows when the estranged couple appeared at the 44th Daytime Emmy Awards hand-in-hand at the Pasadena Convention Center.

The couple even joked about the recent commotion that their divorce has caused when they presented Outstanding Entertainment News Program on stage.

"It is kind of fitting because I think we've been on each and every one about 100 times per month... so they know us pretty well," Tarek says as an introduction. Christina then adds, "Only for the past few months."

Meanwhile, Tarek and Christina have been confirmed to return on their hit reality show "Flip or Flop" for an eighth season.

Christina shared on her Instagram account that they are already excited to film a brand-new season of "Flip or Flop."
