Happy Quinn's (Jadyn Wong) secret marriage was revealed in the season 2 finale of "Scorpion." In the upcoming season, everyone will finally find out who Happy is married to, and Team Scorpion will be operating without Walter for a while in season 3.

Previously, Toby Curtis (Eddie Kaye Thomas) got down on one knee to ask for Happy's hand in marriage. Instead of a yes or no answer, Happy said that she was already married. With the secret marriage out in the open, executive producer Nicholas Wootton shared that details about Happy's marriage will be revealed in the first half of season 3.

Wootton told Showbiz Junkies during their interview at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con last July that things will get emotional for Jadyn. "You know, we gave little bits to Jadyn in terms of emotional stuff because it just wasn't her character. We really had to find those things, but now it's going to be a huge part of the first 10 episodes is really her emotional story in so many ways with the marriage and other complications...other things that are going to reverberate out," said Wootton.

This secret marriage caused Toby to down a whole bottle of Tequila, and Wootton added that Team Scorpion will not be pleased when they find out who Happy's secret husband is.

One of the speculated big twists in season 3 is Walter's absence from Team Scorpion. Parent Herald reports that Walter (Elyes Gabel) will be suffering from hypoxia, a deficiency of oxygen in the tissues of the body. This will cause Walter to hallucinate a series of dreams, which will be the cause of his absence from Team Scorpion's operations.

Wootton also said that Walter will be struggling to confess his feelings to Paige Dineen (Katharine McPhee) in the upcoming episodes of season 3. The series will explore their relationship and dive deeper into their personal lives, adding to the emotional wave that "Scorpion" season 3 has prepared for its viewers.

"Scorpion" season 3 premieres Monday, Oct. 3, at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
