South Korean tech giant Samsung is about to release yet another highly anticipated gadget, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3.

Official word from Samsung about the Galaxy Tab S3 was expected during the 2016 IFA in Berlin, Germany, but Samsung decided to keep the tablet's information in the dark, leaving little information to spread on the internet.

Fortunately, a couple of leaks here and there have shed some light on what Samsung fans can expect from their new flagship tablet the Galaxy Tab S3. One leaked image shows the new design for the Galaxy Tab S3. The image was posted by known phone leaker, Evan Blass, in his official Twitter account, and was captioned "Anonymous tip. Tab S3?"

The new leaked design for the Galaxy Tab S3 did not stray too far from Samsung's previous designs, but it implies that Samsung may have decided to switch back to a 16:9 aspect ratio instead of 4:3. Additionally, the Galaxy Tab S3 has been reported to come out with an AMOLED screen that will go on both its 8-inch and 9.7-inch variant.

As for the Galaxy Tab S3's insides, fans expect that Samsung will do as they did before with the Galaxy Tab S2, where they used the Galaxy S6's customized Exynos 7 Octa 5433 chip. Samsung's previous move with the Galaxy Tab S2 makes the idea of using the Galaxy S7's current Exynos 8890 processor for the Galaxy Tab S3 very possible. What's more is that other variants of the Galaxy S7 did not come with an Exynos processor, but with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 instead, making it another viable processor for the upcoming Galaxy Tab S3 as well.

Moreover, reports also show that the Galaxy Tab S3 will come out running on Android Marshmallow along with a 4 GB random access memory (RAM), and internal storage options between 32 GB and 64 GB.

Even though there are still no official news on the price and the release of Samsung's next flagship tablet, it is speculated that the Galaxy Tab S3 will be coming out sometime in 2017, with a price tag of $420 and up.
