"Quantico" season 2 starts with Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra) working for the CIA, with Ryan Booth (Jake McLaughlin) at her side. Soon, another terrorist attack will put Alex to the test once again, endangering herself and the citizens of New York City.

The first episode of "Quantico" season 2 begins showing Alex in one of her training sessions at the Farm, CIA's boot camp equipped with advance technology and ran by tough operatives. In one of season premiere photos for the first episode called "Kudove," Ryan is seen sitting on the chair where CIA trainees are put to a test, with Alex in the same room. Other photos from the promo indicate that they came as a pair and that other trainees are comfortable with them and their history.

Ryan may be by Alex's side, but CIA training will not be easy for her. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Chopra says, "The CIA is clandestine, so it's all about deceit, evasiveness, and lying, but Alex is all about the truth, finding the truth, and being good. She's suddenly outside of her comfort zone."

In season 1, the show named episode titles with the last word said in the episode. This pattern is uncertain for season 2, but many are already intrigued with the title of its first episode. "Kudove" is a CIA cryptonym, which are code names or code words used by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency to refer to. "Kudove" translates to CIA Deputy Director for Operations. A character that may be related to this is Owen Hall, played by Blair Underwood, a CIA officer whom everyone looks up to but his role in the CIA is quite unclear.

The upcoming season will be portraying two-timelines to help unravel how terrorist attack came to be in New York City. The center of these timelines will again be Alex. Series creator Josh Safran tells Entertainment Weekly, "Present Alex knows something is wrong. Future Alex is still dealing with having known that something is wrong."

Season 2 is all about the CIA, but it will still show transition from last season's FBI setting by having familiar faces in the show. Safran is bringing back Miranda (Aunjanue Ellis), twins Nimah and Raina (Yasmine Al Massri), and Shelby (Johanna Braddy).

"Quantico" season 2 will premiere on Sunday, Sept. 25, at 10.pm. EDT on ABC.
