Aria (Lucy Hale) received both an invitation and a blackmail from A.D.'s pawn Sydney (Chloe Bridges), which she might consider taking. Meanwhile, Alison (Sasha Pieterse) will continue on carrying Emily's (Shay Mitchell) baby.

Season 7 of "Pretty Little Liars" returns on Tuesday, May 23, with episode 15 titled "In the Eye Abides the Heart." Although details of this upcoming episode remain under wraps, fans are eagerly waiting for the show to reveal whether Aria will be switching to team A.D.

Previously in "Pretty Little Liars" season 7, Sydney met with Aria and invited her to join A.D. To put pressure on Aria's decision, Sydney said that what they have over her will push Ezra (Ian Harding) to choose Nicole (Rebecca Breeds) over her.

Although Aria has not yet accepted nor declined the offer, she chose not to tell her co-liars, which sparked speculation that she is leaning toward joining A.D. to save her relationship with Ezra.

In an interview with Hollywood Life, Hale shared that the dark side of her character will be unveiled in the final episodes of "Pretty Little Liars" season 7.

"They finally gave Aria something really dark to do. ... You get to see a not so nice side of her. She may or may not betray her friends," Hale teased.

Meanwhile, one of the cliffhangers left in episode 14 is whether Alison will be dropping Emily's baby.

However, executive producer Marlene King shared with US Magazine in a previous interview that Alison's baby will be coming.

"We will see a baby! That story line is really one of the most out there story lines we've done, but I will say that it is honored in such a beautiful way in 7B. It's really grounded, and it's really beautiful, and it's really some of the most emotional arcs and beats we have in all of 7B," King explained.

"Pretty Little Liars" season 7 returns on May 23 on Freeform.
