There are only a few days left until the release of the latest game from the NBA 2K franchise, "NBA 2K17," and here's what Visual Concepts and 2K sports are bringing into the game.

Since the Early Tip Off Weekend last Sept. 16, "NBA 2K17" features have been spread out on the internet, finally giving gamers more information about the latest installment's gameplay.

To start off the game, gamers can indulge themselves in the prelude mini-campaign where the main character will play for a college team of their choosing. The prelude campaign can take around 30 minutes of gameplay to end. After completing the mini-campaign, the main character can move on to the "My Career" mode which, according to The BitBag, contains a new storyline that guides gamers into creating a partnership between their main character and Michael Jordan's character that shall end up dominating the whole NBA league.

Aside from the prelude mini-campaign and the new storyline for the "My Career" mode, the game will also include a "My Player" mode that will allow gamers to create a personalized character that they can use to play with other gamers from all over the world. In line with this feature, "NBA 2K17's" "My Park" mode will now provide newbies with a fair game as the matchmaking system for this mode has been modified to create matches with opponents who have similar levels of experience.

One more new online feature of "NBA 2K17" is the "After Dark" mode, which will enable gamers to partake in online competitions such as three-point shootouts and slam dunk contests. Another new tournament in the NBA 2K franchise to look forward to is the Mountain Dew 3X tournament that will give off a last-man-standing kind of gameplay.

On top of all the new features "NBA 2K17" has to offer, the most noticeable change is the improved graphics of the game. 2K17 boasts detailed textures that provide a more immersive feel that's not merely for aesthetics.

Unlike the earlier installments of the NBA 2K franchise, 2K17 is now a tad more realistic because of its enhanced textures that actually affect the gameplay. Detailed graphics show more friction when there's body contact between characters, making it a bit more difficult for gamers to pass the ball or get through a block.

It is also worth noting that the ball dynamics for 2K17 has changed, providing gamers with a more unpredictable, yet authentic gameplay.

"NBA 2K17" will officially be available on the market this Sept. 20, but will only be available for consoles, including Playstation 3 and 4, Xbox One and 360, and on PC.
