Tech giant Microsoft will be announcing the latest development news for its Xbox gaming console, Windows 10 operating system, and Surface phones and laptops at its upcoming tech event this Oct. 26 in New York.

It is said that Microsoft will be focusing on its Windows 10 operating system, which means that it could also give the spotlight to its devices that can ultimately utilize and showcase their Windows 10 OS.

Speculations suggest that a new All-In-One Surface PC will be announced in Microsoft's upcoming event, a rumor that adds to the suspicion that the current Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book might not get an update for the rest of the year.

What's more is that the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is currently experiencing price drops ranging from $100 USD up to $585 USD. Surface Pro 4 buyers can now save up to $585 USD if they choose to buy a Surface Pro 4 equipped with an Intel Core i7 chip coupled with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB of storage space, and up to $260 USD if they buy the lower storage capacity 256 GB Surface Pro 4 Variant.

As for the Surface Pro 4's entry level models, buyers can also enjoy discounts that would let them save up to $150 USD if they choose to go with the Intel Core m3 Skylake processor-packed base model, and at least $100 USD if they opt to purchase the higher Intel Core i5-powered model.

Though the Surface Pro 4 discounts are only available for a limited time, buyers are not limited to discounts in the Microsoft store alone. Interested technophiles can also buy discounted Surface 4 Pro laptops from Best Buy and Amazon.

On another note, speculations about a near release of the Surface Pro 5 are increasing due to the current price drop for the Surface Pro 4 right now. However, there is still no official news as to when the Surface Pro 4 successor will be released.
