Cupertino tech giant Apple has kept news about the MacBook Pro 2016's release tightly under wraps, but word has spread that the new Apple laptop might just be out in the market before October ends.

According to Rhoda Alexander — Table and Notebook PC director at HIS Markit Technology — the development for the MacBook Pro 2016 might have began in the early half of the year, which leads to speculations that all the variants of the MacBook Pro 2016 could be launched sometime in October 2016.

Though there is still no definitive date set for the new Apple MacBook Pro 2016's release, much speculation has spread that the device will come out with specs and features that will go well against its competition such as the Microsoft Surface Laptop.

Rumors suggest that the new Apple Macbook Pro 2016 will come to the market in two variants, one with a 13-inch display, and another equipped with a larger 15-inch display, both powered by the latest Intel Kaby Lake chips. However, other rumors suggest that the larger 15-inch variant might come out with an AMD Polaris GPU chip instead.

Other speculations about the upcoming Apple MacBook Pro 2016 laptop suggest that the laptop might also follow the iPhone 7's lack of the 3.5mm headphone jack, especially since word has spread that the new laptop will come out with a slimmer and sleeker design than its predecessor.

The MacBook Pro 2016 has also been rumored to come to the market with the inclusion of an OLED touch strip, MagSafe 2 power port, Touch ID, a Force touch trackpad, and USB-C ports.

As of now there is still no set release date for the Apple laptop, but rumors suggest that the new Apple MacBook Pro 2016 will be released in the market by Oct. 27 with a price tag ranging from $899USD to $1,099 USD.
