Cupertino tech giant Apple is about to host an event just before October ends, and it is highly speculated that the event will feature the launch of Apple laptops such as the new MacBook Pro and MacBook Air.

Even though Apple just released the 2016 MacBook Air last April and despite the lack of information about the upcoming MacBooks at Apple's September event, recent speculations suggest that the company will once again wow fans this year by launching the 2017 variant of the MacBook Air at the company's event this on Thursday, Oct. 27.

Furthermore, adding to the suspicion that Apple will be launching the new MacBook Air this October, Apple will allegedly confirm a new laptop reveal through the invitation to its October event. The invitation for the press contained the message "Hello again," which is similar to the iconic message "Hello," that former Apple CEO Steve Jobs used when he introduced the Mac back in 1984.

A lot of fans expect more from the Cupertino tech giant when they announce the new MacBook Air especially since it has been four years since the MacBook Air lineup received any major upgrades, and the 2016 MacBook Air did not contain any major upgrades that would make it significantly different from its predecessor, the 2015 MacBook Air.

According to certain rumors, the 2017 MacBook Air will come in two variants. One will sport a 13-inch high resolution display and will be launched this 2016, while the other will have an 11-inch display and will be launched sometime in 2017.

Additionally, some rumors suggest that the new MacBook Air will not come with any major upgrades that will make it have a significant difference from its predecessors. However, the new MacBook Air is said to be lighter and thinner than the 2016 MacBook Air.

The new MacBook Air is also said to come out with internal spec augmentations, new batteries, USB Type-C ports integrated with Thunderbolt 3, and will be powered by the latest generation of Intel processors.
