iOS 10 jailbreak release date news, rumors: Pangu quiet on jailbreak; TinyUmbrella jailbreak offers alternative

Since Cupertino tech giant Apple recently released the latest update to their iOS 10 a couple of weeks ago, iOS users who are keen to jailbreak their devices looked to official iOS hacker Pangu and Tai G. Unfortunately, there are still no available jailbreak tools from the known hacker groups for the iOS 10 today.

The well-known iOS hacking groups Pangu and Tai G have been silent over the past few weeks when it came to their jailbreak tools for the recently released iOS 10. Now, some members of the iOS jailbreak community speculate that both parties may have stopped working on their iOS 10 jailbreak tools.

Apple has been releasing update after update for their latest operating system, making it harder for jailbreakers to hack the OS. Another thing Apple made sure of is that once users have upgraded their device's OS, it would become impossible to downgrade the device to the previous version of its OS.

On another note, despite the lack of jailbreak tools from Pangu and Tai G, iOS users can still look to other alternatives that can be used to jailbreak their phones. One known alternative being used by plenty of iOS users today is TinyUmbrella.

TinyUmbrella enables iOS users to downgrade their device's OS by saving the SHSH blobs of the previous version of their OS. However, some iOS users still prefer waiting for Pangu or Tai G's jailbreak tools since they are not too keen on downgrading their iOS version just for the sake of jailbreaking their device.

As of now, there is still no official word from Pangu or Tai G as to when they will release their jailbreak tools for iOS, but this hasn't kept plenty of people within the iOS jailbreaking community from still hoping that the two known hacker groups are still working on the highly awaited iOS10 jailbreak tool, and will be releasing it soon.
