NetherRealm's sequel to their fighting video game "Injustice: Gods Among Us" will be released for the Xbox and PlayStation 4 console in approximately a year, and with it will come a new set of playable characters that gamers can soon enjoy.

Even though "Injustice 2" still has about a year before it can be enjoyed by fans, recent updates about the game are getting players hyped since it is said that a new set of DC heroes and villains will be added to the game.

Several DC characters that will be included in the "Injustice 2" roster will include Captain Cold, Black Canary, Ra's al Ghul and Red Hood.

Since the Flash was recently added to the "Injustice 2" roster, his nemesis Captain Cold was also included in the game. Before the "Injustice 2" trailer was released, the addition of Captain Cold was just a speculation. But the recent trailer has shown Captain Cold's freeze gun when it was quickly flashed at the beginning of the trailer.

Another bad guy being added to the "Injustice 2" roster will be Batman's enemy, Ra's al Ghul. However, despite being known as Batman's enemy, Ra's al Ghul is rumored to have a different role in "Injustice 2" for he will allegedly be helping Batman defeat Superman in battle.

Other new features that NetherRealm Studios will add to "Injustice 2" will be the option for players to choose and collect tools for their characters to use in battles. What's more is that players will also be able to customize the look of their character.

As of now, there is still no definite list as to which characters will populate the "Injustice 2" roster when it gets released, which means that fans can expect more additions to come.

The "Injustice 2" game will be made available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles come December 31, 2017 for $59.99 USD.
