Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary, and the happy couple posted photos from their marriage with captions dedicated to each other.

The lovely couple got engaged in January 2015. A year later, in April, Somerhalder and Reed began their journey as a married couple. On April 26 this year, Reed and Somerhalder had a big milestone in their lives as it marked their second year as a married couple, People confirmed.

Somerhalder shared on Instagram moments before their wedding anniversary how there is "NO better way" to begin the day than being in the studio with his wife and hear her "beautiful voice sing these beautiful words."

Later on, the two celebrated their anniversary and let the whole world know how much they mean to each other by posting how they felt for each other on social media.

Somerhalder posted a photo of him and his wife on their wedding day, happily smiling with their heads close together and described Reed as "the most amazing human in the world." The "The Vampire Diaries" star thanked Reed for the wonderful years of marriage that they have had, and said, "I couldn't be happier or more grateful to you for this life. Thank you for being my best friend."

The actor ended his post with a tear-jerking statement, saying that they'll have many more years of marriage to come to the point that they won't be able to count them, "because I'll be so old."

Of course, Reed also shared a heartfelt message for her husband on Instagram.

Posting a photo from their wedding day, where the two shared a beautiful kiss, Reed described Somerhalder as "my partner in this life, my better half in every way." The "Twilight" saga actress also shared how each day of their marriage only gets better and that "Navigating the waters of life with you is the greatest and most rewarding adventure I've ever known."
