Laurel (Karla Souza) was found unconscious and pregnant, and Wes (Alfred Enoch) could be the father of her baby. Meanwhile, a big secret of Frank (Charlie Weber) will be revealed in episode 5 of season 3.
Previously in "How to Get Away With Murder," the other body found at Annalise's (Viola Davis) burning house in the fast forward was identified as Laurel. The nurse who happened take Laurel in as a patient at the hospital is Wes' girlfriend, Meggy (Corbin Reid), and she realizes who her patient is. She then finds out that Laurel is pregnant. Who is the father?
There are speculations that Wes could be the father of Laurel's baby. In an interview with Variety, Matt McGorry — who plays Asher — says that it is possible for Wes to be the father of Laurel's baby.
"Yeah, I mean anything is possible. We're still a number of episodes away and we'll find out a lot more of these details," shared McGorry.
Showrunner Pete Nowalk confirms to E! Online that Wes and Laurel still have feelings for each other. "I think there might be something still there with Laurel, but I think he's trying to do what Annalise said, which is to try to be normal," explained Nowalk. This points to the possibility that Wes and Laurel acted on their feelings, which may have resulted in Laurel getting pregnant.
Meanwhile, something big about Frank's past will be revealed in episode 5, titled "It's About Frank." Cartermatt released the synopsis for episode 5 – "The mystery behind the Annalise 'killer' flyers takes a surprising twist. Meanwhile, Frank's troubled past is exposed and a shocking new discovery changes everything about the night of the fire."
In the episode 5 promo, Bonnie (Liza Weil) catches up with Frank, and it is anticipated that he will get to tell his side of the story. There are so many unanswered questions about Frank's motives right now, including why he murdered Bonnie's father. Why is he on the run and who is trying to kill him?
