Newlyweds Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) have an issue to address in the upcoming episode of "Grey's Anatomy." Also, will Nathan (Martin Henderson) and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) finally come out with their secret fling?

The synopsis for "Grey's Anatomy" season 13 episode 4 — titled "Falling Slowly" — was released by ABC.

"Alex tries to do the right thing but still can't catch a break. Jackson and April adjust to their 'new normal' with the baby. While Meredith and Nathan establish what's going on between them, Amelia questions the state of her relationship with Owen," as reported by Cartermatt.

Owen and Amelia are enjoying their newly wed life, especially because Amelia is enjoying that "married sex is dirtier" than she expected. But the couple will be encountering a bump on the road in episode 4, and Amelia will be the one to address it. So far, there are no hints about what would cause Amelia to question the current standing of their marriage.

Meanwhile, Meredith and Nathan's fling have caught up with them. Maggie (Kelly McCreary), who was recently turned down by Nathan after she asked him out on a date, can't get over it and pours her heart out to Meredith. However, Meredith, knowing that she has everything to do with Nathan rejecting Maggie, doesn't want to listen to her sister .

In the episode 4 promo, Nathan will be suggesting to Meredith that they hang out, as a stepping-stone to introducing their relationship out in the open. But a new conflict about a patient will push Meredith to confront Nathan about his intentions.

It appears that another couple will also be on the spotlight in episode 4. April (Sarah Drew) and Jackson (Jesse Williams) will be struggling to balance their lives with each other, and both try to work out co-parenting while already divorced.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
