"Destroy All Humans: Remastered" has been made available by its developers on the PS4 console, but it appears that not much has changed from the original version of the game.

Game developer and publisher THQ Nordic recently announced that "Destroy All Humans: Remastered" is already available on the PS4 console. The game can now be bought on the PlayStation Store for $19.99.

The original "Destroy All Humans" was released in 2005. It was an open-world action parody game based on alien invasion films. "Destroy All Humans" was set in the 1950s, and it was a whimsical game based on the era's lifestyle, pop culture, and politics.

Gamers will control a bad-mouthed alien named Cryptosporidium 137, who was tasked with collecting human DNA and finding his long lost ally, Cryptosporidium 136.

According to Game Spew, "Destroy All Humans: Remastered" has advanced in visuals, cloud support, and trophies since the original release 11 years ago.

PlayStation Lifestyle reports that the remastered game has a Platinum Trophy, and there are 37 trophies that need to be acquired to gain it. There is also a Gold Trophy that will require gamers to have 100% completion.

In terms of unusual weaponry, it seems that not much has changed. A partial description for the game "Destroy All Humans" is, "Take over all of humanity using a variety of alien weaponry such as a ray gun, an anal probe gun, the Ion Detonator, the Zap-O-Matic, the Sonic Boom, the Quantum Deconstructor, a powerful nuclear weapon that can launch radioactive bombs, and more – on land or in the air."

Cryptosporidium 137 has telekinesis that enables him to throw huge vehicles, and he also has the ability to disguise himself as a human.

Aside from "Destroy All Humans," THQ Nordic is currently working on 23 game projects, 13 of which haven't been announced since its rebranding from Nordic Games. The game developer is planning to make a comeback for games available on the PS4 console.

"Destroy All Humans: Remastered" is available on the PlayStation Store for $19.99.
