Marvel's Man Without Fear will be returning with season 3 in 2018, possibly along with Elektra and a new big bad, Bullseye.

Elektra Natchios, played by Elodie Yung, died toward the end of season 2 of "Daredevil." Her lifeless body was last seen in the finale being dug up and placed in a mysterious looking casket by the remaining Hand members. In the Marvel comic series, Elektra was resurrected through The Hand's doing and she went back to being an assassin. Fans expect that the same will happen in the "Daredevil" TV series, although based on the comic series, Elektra might not be as present in the Daredevil's crime-fighting endeavors as expected.

Charlie Cox, who plays Matt Murdock, said that it would be great to have Bullseye come in the series at some point. Bullseye is described as one of the Daredevil's greatest foes in the comic series. He does not have any special abilities but when he aims with the use of any given weapon, he never misses, hence the name Bullseye. Cox said, "If we are fortunate enough to continue making the 'Daredevil' series, I can't imagine doing a run of 'Daredevil' where Bullseye doesn't show up at some point. It would be great to have him around at some point," during an interview with Rob Keyes from Screenrant. If Bullseye will appear next season, there is no news yet on who will play the character.

There is no news update about who else gets cast in "Daredevil" season 3, but Matt's greatest allies Karen Page, played by Deborah Ann Woll, and Foggy Nelson, played by Elden Henson, will surely be there. Fans will have to wait until season premiere to see how this trio will reunite.

"Daredevil" season 3 is set to be released in 2018 because of Marvel and Netflix's full plate of hero-filled shows. According to Digital Spy, Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos said that "Iron Fist" and "The Defenders" are next in line for 2017, pushing "Daredevil" to 2018.
