Apple macOS Sierra 10.12.1 features, updates: New OS leaks 2016 MacBook Pro features

macOS Sierra Auto Unlock feature with Apple Watch Apple

Cupertino tech giant Apple has just finished beta testing, and the company has just released their latest macOS, the macOS Sierra 10.12.1, which can now be accessed through the Mac App store.

The macOS Sierra 10.12.1 is the first update to Apple's macOS Sierra, and it includes a set of new features for Mac software users such as improved overall security and reliability for Mac devices.

The new macOS Sierra 10.12.1 update now allows users to have an automatic start album in Photos for iPhone 7 Plus users who take Depth Effect images.

The update now also improves Microsoft Office compatibility with the iCloud Desktop and Documents.

Furthermore, Apple's new macOS Sierra 10.12.1 update also overcame a couple of issues present in its previous version, namely the Mail and Clipboard issues. The new macOS Sierra 10.12.1 update now fixed the Mail update prevention issue whenever a user uses their Microsoft Exchange account. The new update also fixed the errors whenever a user uses the paste command via the Universal Clipboard.

Other features of the new macOS Sierra 10.12.1 update includes the Auto Unblock with the Apple Watch and enhanced security and stability in the Apple Web browser, Safari.

The release notes also specifically mention improved compatibility with Microsoft Office documents, Mail, Universal Clipboard, Auto Unlock with Apple Watch, and Safari. iPhone 7 Plus users can now also enjoy a new Depth Effect smart album in Photos when using iOS 10.1 and macOS 10.12.1.

On another note, during the release of the new macOS Sierra 10.12.1 update, users noticed hidden images in the Apple Pay. The images hints that the new MacBook Pro might come with a new OLED touch panel feature.

The new MacBook Pro is set to be launched at Apple's October event, and the leaked image shows that the new Apple laptop might come with a touch panel rumored to be called the "Magic Toolbar." Hopefully, Apple fans will get to know more about this in Apple's October event this Thursday.
