According to recent speculations, Advanced Micro Devices' new upcoming Zen architecture will be launched early next year on January 17 at the CES event in Las Vegas. Additionally, rumors suggest that the first chips to be launched are the ones for high-end PC components.

Ever since the Bulldozer and SeaMicro, it has been speculated that Advanced Micro Devices' is working on something to improve their current presence in the market. This time, Advanced Micro Devices plans to go against Intel head on with their new product architecture.

Because of these speculations, fans are getting hyped over the reveal of the AMD Zen. Recently dubbed as the next generation processor of Advanced Micro Devices, the Zen boasts impressive speeds going from 3.3-gigaherts up to 4-gigahertz.

First generation chips are set to come with a processing speed of 3-gigahertz that can be boosted up to 3.5-gigahertz, while overclocked ones can allow users to take their systems up to speeds of over 4-gigahertz.

On another note, the lower-end Zen chipsets and motherboards are said to be released sometime in March 2017. Rumors also suggest that the SR5 and SR3 Zen chips will be released in the same month too.

However, there is still no confirmation from Advanced Micro Devices as to when the lower-end Zen chips will be released. But since AMD also didn't deny this rumor, fans can still expect the chips to be available in the first quarter of 2017.
