Debbie (Emma Kenney) considers getting married to ensure that her baby isn't taken away by Child Protective Services. Meanwhile, Fiona (Emmy Rossum) gets into a laundromat business to make more money.

Previously on "Shameless" season 7, Debbie got into a brawl with a homeless lady while carrying her baby. A lot of bystanders took a video of the altercation and posted it online, which reached Child Protective Services. The incident has put Debbie under investigation regarding her fitness as a parent.

In the episode 7 promo, Debbie is seen saying that she wants to get married so she  will be able to keep her baby, Franny. The lucky guy that Debbie is planning to marry is the disabled man she met recently, Neil (Zack Pearlman).

Neil apparently has a fortune and an apartment all to himself. Debbie thinks that Neil is her golden ticket to get her act together and to secure Franny in her custody.

However, in another sneak peek, Fiona describes Neil as a "paraplegic with no impulse control" and says that Debbie is just freaking out, shrugging it off as a serious matter.

Fiona, on the other hand, is attempting to invest in a laundromat business to get herself more together. Previously in "Shameless" season 7, their washing machine broke down and Fiona went into a nearby laundromat wherein she meets the owner, who was an old lady being bullied by businessmen. They want her to give away her lease so they can turn the place into a Starbucks.

According to the synopsis of the upcoming episode 7 — titled "The Defenestration of Frank" —  released by Showtime: "Fiona sees opportunity in a laundromat for sale and decides to invest. Frank (William H. Macy) revels in the good fortune of his scam, but the troops catch a whiff of foul play. Meanwhile, Kev (Steve Howey) and V (Shanola Hampton) discover a shocking secret about Svetlana's father."

"Shameless" season 7 airs every Sunday at 9 p.m. EDT on Showtime.
