Fiona (Emmy Rossum) has now taken the role of head of the family and she's getting everyone in shape, tough-love style. Meanwhile, Frank (William Macy) — upon finding out that his family abandoned him — begins to assemble a second set of Gallaghers from a shelter as his new family.

Previously in "Shameless," Fiona was about to get married to her fiancé Sean (Dermot Mulroney). But Frank outed Sean, who had been using heroin and the latter decided to leave to get custody of his son. This leaves Fiona and Sean in no place to reconcile with each other.

In the "Shameless" season 7 official trailer, Fiona has now taken all of her siblings plus her new niece under her wing, but she's not making it easy as pie for them. She has set a rental fee, pushing her siblings to make ways to get their lives together. However, her tough love might just set them in the wrong direction.

Debbie (Emma Kenney), being pressured to make a living because of rent and her newborn daughter, resorts to stealing. Maybe it's the Gallagher genes that pushed her to that way of making ends meet, but it won't last for long. Meanwhile, Lip (Jeremy Allen White) will start getting his act together by getting rid of his alcoholism.

Ian (Cameron Monaghan) will have trouble keeping his manic bipolar disorder in check since he's found a job that he's passionate about. Carl (Ethan Cutkosky) on the other hand, gets in trouble with his new girl's father for allegedly giving her an STD.

Fiona is getting tired of taking care of her crazy family and she just might start packing. Or maybe there's so much more she can take, given that she is a Gallagher.

According to the synopsis from Spoiler TV, Frank wakes up after a month from a coma triggered by his fall from the bridge. He soon finds out that it was his own children who pushed him to the waters. Feeling betrayed, he goes into a shelter and picks out new members of his Gallagher family, replacing each of his kids and giving them the same name. The episode is named "Hiraeth," a Welsh word that relates to grief or sadness over the lost or the departed. It looks like Frank will be experiencing hiraeth to an extreme in the season 7 premiere.

"Shameless" premieres Sunday, Oct. 2, at 9 p.m. EDT on Showtime.
