A new leak has indicated some powerful specs to come with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S7, which is pegged to come out in the coming months.

According to a post on Chinese social media site Weibo by Ann Bunny, a leak of a device appeared on their database with the serial number SM-G930F, and they are considering it to be the upcoming Samsung flagship of the year, the Galaxy S7. The handset is said to sport a 5.1-inch full HD display with 1,440 x 2,560 resolution and powered by the Exynos 8890 coupled with 4 GB of RAM.

The camera set is said to have a 12 megapixel back-facing camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing shooter, which seems pretty low compared to other leaks that indicated that the back-side camera of the Galaxy S7 could reach 21 megapixels in resolution.

In addition, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is also said to launch out of the box with the latest iteration to the Android Marshmallow, the Android 6.0.1. This brings new Android Marshmallow features to the smartphone including Android Pay, Google Now on Tap, enhanced fingerprint sensor settings, Doze Mode, new design interfaces and many more.

The upcoming Samsung flagship is rumoured to come out in four variants- A Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Plus, Galaxy S7 Edge and a Galaxy S7 Edge Plus.

Users are looking forward to seeing the Samsung Galaxy S7 launch with the Exynos 8890, which is said to be the most powerful chipset created to date based on AnTuTu benchmark speeds. Another variant of the Galaxy S7 is also being made containing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, which also promises a strong amount of processing power.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to launch in the upcoming Mobile World Congress this coming Feb. 22-24, 2016 at Barcelona Spain, but considering this release date is only hinted there is a possibility that the handset may not come out on that date.
