Homecoming has arrived, and Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) will go with Polly (Tiera Skovbye) in honor of Jason (Trevor Stines). Meanwhile, a new death once again happens in Riverdale, which will set up the next season for the series.

"Riverdale" season 1 will be skipping an episode next week. The CW series resumes the following Thursday with episode 11, titled "Chapter Eleven: To Riverdale and Back Again," Cheryl and Polly will try to get along and attend Homecoming together in honor of Jason. However, a big revelation might cause friction in their plans.

"Cheryl and Polly have both decided to go to Homecoming in Jason's honor, until a revelation waylays their plans," the episode listing on The Futon Critic reads.

As seen from the episode promo, the revelation might be a dark secret that Polly uncovers about the Blossom family.

Alice (Madchen Amick) might be asking for Archie (KJ Apa) and Veronica's (Camila Mendes) help in searching for facts about the Blossom's dark secret after Betty (Lili Reinhart) turns her down.

"Betty is slammed overseeing Homecoming and Reunion weekend, but Alice wants her to help with the Jason Blossom investigation. Alice turns to Archie and Veronica for help, but when Betty discovers they are working with her mom, she is not happy," the listing reads.

Meanwhile, another death will happen in Riverdale that will bring the series to a new season.

Executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa confirmed that the new death will be revealed in the show's season 1 finale and that it will bring the story forward to season 2. However, the showrunner refused to give a hint about the next victim.

According to Entertainment Weekly Aguirre-Sacasa revealed that "If the rumored death happens, it would go to set up season 2." He added that viewers should watch out for the season finale because it is complete with romance, suspense, and horror, which he believes are all the elements that make the show great.

"Riverdale" season 1 returns with episode 11 on Thursday, April 27, at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
