The upcoming eighth episode of "Quantico" hints that the FBI may be involved in the terrorist act happening in New York. Meanwhile, could Nimah (Yasmine Al Massri) be one of the terrorists under Miranda's (Aunjanue Ellis) control?

In "Quantico" season 2, the title of the next episode is a CIA cryptonym that is very distinct. The eighth episode is titled "ODENVY," and according to the synopsis released by Carter Matt, "At the Farm, Lydia and Owen teach the group about the necessity of lying and cutting off relationships. Perfect timing for Alex, since she is feeling disconnected from Ryan personally and professionally. In the future, Alex and company attempt to destroy the biological weapon."

Although the synopsis does not reveal anything explicit, the CIA cryptonym ODENVY actually means "Federal Bureau of Investigation." As the episode promo suggests that the biggest betrayal within the organization will be revealed, it is possible that the FBI was part of the terrorist act all along.

Meanwhile, there have been speculations that suggest that Nimah is working with the terrorists.

In the previous episode — episode six, titled "Aquiline" — Nimah was revealed to have been acting as Raina to spy on the hostages that the terrorists took. After Dayana (Pearl Thusi) confided that she was in Surabaya, Nimah tells one of their captors and removes her headscarf, only to reveal that the real Raina was still tied to a chair.

It has previously been established that Miranda was working with the terrorists. In the most recent episode, she even let her boyfriend take the fall for being connected to the terrorists on the phone. It is possible that Miranda and Nimah had worked together as part of the terrorists plan for New York.

Viewers should take note that the upcoming eight episode of "Quantico" will not air this coming Sunday, Nov. 21, to give way to the American Music Awards happening on the same night.

"Quantico" season 2 will return on Sunday, Nov. 27, at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
