'Prison Break' season 5 release date news, spoilers: Lincoln gets help escaping from a Yemeni prison; Will one of the brothers die?

Fox's thrilling TV show "Prison Break" will be airing once again as it returns for its fifth season, and fans of the series are getting hyped over the show's release since it's last season was aired back in 2009.

"Prison Break" revolves around the story of two brothers who conspired to escape from prison. Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) — a skilled architect — enters prison to save his wrongfully imprisoned brother, Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) by using his ingenious set of skills to carefully flee the prison.

Unfortunately, Scofield's plan didn't go as expected, and it only left him with more struggles.

For "Prison Break" season 5, fans will once again follow Michael and see him attempt to escape a new prison in Yemen. Fans will also see Scofield 's new enemies, who are rumoured to be part of the ISIS terrorist group.

The fifth season of "Prison Break" will be based on the mythological story of Odysseus. Scofield will be in the same situation as Oddyseus was when he was trying to get back to his family. Unfortunately for Scofield, doing so will be a difficult task, especially with the ISIS tailing behind him.

What's more is that his wife and son are speculated to have moved on with a new life. As shown in the trailer for "Prison Break" season 5, Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) is talking to her son about Scofield possibly coming back.

Other rumored speculations suggest that Lincoln might die as he tries to protect his brother from the international terrorist group while also facilitating Scofield's escape from the Yemeni prison.

The upcoming instalment of "Prison Break" is also said to show a new side of Scofield that fans weren't able to see on any of the previous installments before.

As of now there is still no official news as to what fans can expect from the upcoming fifth season of "Prison Break." Fans will just have to wait until the show airs sometime in 2017.
