Niantic has recently released a new "Pokemon GO" update for the Halloween season, and here are a couple of tricks and tips that "Pokemon GO" players can use to make the most out of the Halloween update until it ends.

The "Pokemon GO" Halloween update allows fans to earn more Pokemon candy as well as medals for the weekend this Halloween. Fans will also be able to capture a set of scary creatures until the Halloween update lasts, which is until Monday, Nov. 1.

For this Halloween season, "Pokemon GO" users will frequently encounter a set of scary Pokemon including Gastly, Drowzee, Gengar, Haunter, Golbat, Hypno, and Zubat.

What's more is that whenever "Pokemon GO" users catch, hatch, or transfer their Pokemon creatures, they will be rewarded with six Pokemon candies instead of the usual three.

Buddy Pokemon gamers will also be able to gain more Pokemon candy, approximately four times faster than the usual rate. Additionally, Pokemon Buddy gamers will also be able to evolve their Buddy Pokemon about three times faster than the usual rate.

During the Halloween update, "Pokemon GO" players are also advised to should opt for Snorlax, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and Lapras when choosing their Buddy Pokemon as these are the most efficient Pokemon choices.

Furthermore, "Pokemon GO" players should try and capture at least 200 of Ghost, Psychic, Ground, Flying, Poison, and Normal types of Pokemon creatures so that they will gain a gold medal for each type they manage to capture.

As of now, these are the best tips and tricks that "Pokemon GO" fans should try in order to get the most out of the special Halloween update that Niantic has just released for "Pokemon GO."

But despite the speedy upgrades and multiplied amount of Pokemon Candies, "Pokemon GO" players must still work fast since the Halloween update will only last until Nov. 1.
