The "Pokemon GO" mobile game for Android and iOS users will be launching together with the Pokemon GO Plus as some reports indicate.

According to Neuro Gadget, "Pokemon" fans should anticipate that the upcoming smartphone-compatible "Pokemon GO" will be launching together with a wearable device that Nintendo is calling the Pokemon GO Plus. The GO Plus is a gadget that users can clip on or wear as a watch and one that enhances that gaming experience by enhancing the augmented reality version of the game. It provides feedback by flashing LEDs and providing haptic feedback to gamers.

The gadget is said to be launching together with the release of "Pokemon GO" to handset owners. The game brings a new aspect to the "Pokemon" gameplay by introducing an AR element, meaning gamers will have to roam around streets and sidewalks to search and catch wild Pokemon. The game is being developed by Nintendo with the help of game creator Niantic.

"For the first time, Pokémon will roam free in the real world. Pokémon GO will allow players to capture Pokémon who inhabit parks, shopping areas, sidewalks and the countryside all around the world." Niantic founder John Hanke tells PC Advisor. "Imagine discovering a Squirtle hiding along the waterfront in San Francisco, a Bulbasaur at Shinjuku Station or a Pikachu beneath the Eiffel Tower."

There is still no news on when "Pokemon GO" will be released to Pokemon fans. Movie Pilot reports that the game should finish beta testing by the end of this month, and be ready for a launch on Feb. 27, 2016. Speculations of the game's launch have been going around since third quarter of last year, and many rumoured launch dates have already come and passed. Less optimistic game analysts are pegging the game launch as far as June of this year.

"Pokemon GO" is seen as the Pokemon Company's 20th year anniversary celebration gift to followers of the hit game, and is also rumoured to be launching at the same time with the upcoming "Pokemon Z."
