The anticipated release of "One Punch Man" season 2 is expected to be early next year. Meanwhile, Saitama may no longer be the undefeated hero in the second season of the hit anime.

Season 1 of "One Punch Man" was released in 2015, and its second season was expected to be released on November of this year. However, since the series creators have not yet released an official announcement, fans of "One Punch Man" are expecting its second season to debut in early 2017.

There have been a lot of speculations about what the storyline of season 2 may hold for the protagonist, Saitama.

According to iTechPost, Saitama will be defeated by a very powerful opponent in "One Punch Man" season 2. This powerful opponent is speculated to be Lord Boros, the alien leader of the Dark Matter Thieves that Saitama defeated in season 1. It is anticipated that Lord Boros will acquire super powers that will ensure he wins over "One Punch Man" Saitama.

Another opponent that is anticipated to defeat Saitama is Garou. He is known as the "Human Monster," and he could possibly be one of "One Punch Man" season 2's most powerful villains. Speculations point out that he will undergo a lot of training, which will make him equal in strength and power against Saitama.

Of course, Saitama will not come short of powers in season 2. It is anticipated that the origin of his super powers will be revealed in "One Punch Man" season 2, and that he will gain more strength and abilities through other training techniques that will be shown in the series next year.

"One Punch Man" season 2 is expected to have more thrilling action scenes. It will also have more episodes compared to season 1, according to Fabnewz. Season 1 only aired 12 episodes, while season 2 is anticipated to have 19 episodes in total.

"One Punch Man" season 2 is expected to debut in early 2017.
