CBS' attempt at making a television series out of the well-known Bradley Cooper movie "Limitless" might have gone down the drain as recent speculations suggest that the show will not be airing its second season anymore due to cancellation.

CBS' "Limitless" tells the story of a man who was offered a mysterious substance called NZT. NZT is a mind altering drug that somehow enhances the way its user thinks, making the user more intelligent in ways that surpass the average human.

Because of recent rumors about "Limitless" season 2's cancellation, fans of the show have been turning to petitions to keep the show going. Right now, avid viewers are advocating a movement to renew "Limitless" for season 2.

Hopeful fans have started a petition campaign via Care2Petitions to ask CBS for a season 2 renewal for "Limitless." The petition requires 35,000 signatures and it has now reached approximately 34,228 signatures. Unfortunately, there is still no news as to what the status of the petition for "Limitless" season 2 is today.

On another note, other speculations suggest that "Limitless" producers Craig Sweeny and Bradley Cooper have been negotiating with several TV networks to renrew the show for a second season. However, despite their efforts, it is said that Cooper and Sweeny's offers have been rejected due to poor ratings for the show's initial installment.
