Eddie Jemison will reprise his role as Mr. Stacey Boss, who has a few tricks up his sleeve. Meanwhile, Blaine (David Anders) will have a face to face with his dad — Angus (Robert Knepper) — soon in season 3 of "iZombie."

In an interview with the AV Club, Jemison confirms that he will be returning as Mr. Stacey Boss for a few episodes in "iZombie's" third season. Mr. Stacey is Seattle's most dangerous crime lord who runs the most of the city's organized crime.

Director Rob Thomas created the character specifically for Jemison, and the actor shared that it is a role which he enjoys portraying.

"What I love about old Mr. Boss is all these awful awful things are done in his name, but he's pretty breezy. He's got a small storefront tax office and he still does people's personal taxes, like that still matters to him. So while he's getting people dismembered, he's also doing his next-door-neighbor-in-the-shopping-mall's taxes," said Jemison.

Jemison added that he finds it great that his character's first name is Stacey.

Another returning character in "iZombie" season 3 is Blaine's dad, Angus. According to Entertainment Weekly, it was confirmed at the San Diego Comic-Con last July that Angus will have a three-episode arc in season 3 of the show "iZombie."

Angus was last seen strapped to a table by Blaine, who delighted in paying back his father for everything he suffered while he was growing up. Blaine and Angus don't exactly have a strong father-and-son bond, and more of their quarrels will be seen in "iZombie" season 3.

Parent Herald reports that season 3 of "iZombie" will only have 13 seasons, which works better for story development, according to Rob Thomas. The show might also take on a Friday slot since one of the Friday shows – "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" – has gone on hiatus.

"iZombie" season 3 is expected to debut in 2017 on The CW.
