Fans of the hit anime series "Hunter X Hunter" have been highly anticipating the release of its upcoming episode — episode 361 — but rumors suggest that these fans might have to wait it out a little longer due to the creator's current health condition.
"Hunter X Hunter" creator Yoshihiro Togashi has been reported to be of ill health, therefore hindering the writer from finishing the much awaited "Hunter x Hunter" episode 361. What's more is that because of Togashi's current health condition, rumors have spread that the "Hunter x Hunter" episode 361 might be cancelled.
The completion of "Hunter x Hunter" episode 361 has been delayed since the first quarter of 2016 due to Togashi's worsening back pain, and as a solution to the delay, Togashi was said to hire a team of writers that will complete the story.
Even though his newly hired writers had him as a consultant, Togashi was not pleased with any of the writer's work. The "Hunter x Hunter" creator was known to have high standards, and it has even been speculated that Togashi's standards were too high for any of his newly hired writers to meet, leaving him with no choice but to put the completion of "Hunter x Hunter" episode 361 on hiatus.
However, one worthy writer for the "Hunter x Hunter" storyline could be Togashi's wife, Naoko Takeuchi. Takeuchi is a well-known manga illustrator know for her work on the manga-turned-anime series "Sailor Moon."
Rumors suggest that Takeuchi will be taking over the "Hunter x Hunter" episode 361 storyline as she herself has had a hand in creating the "Hunter X Hunter" manga series.
On another note, despite the lack of information as to when the 361st chapter of "Hunter X Hunter" will be released, rumors suggest that there is still enough material for the "Hunter x Hunter" season 3 TV series to air in 2017.
However, there is still no official date set as to when season 3 of "Hunter X Hunter" will air.
