Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC has constantly produced plenty of impressive smartphones over the years, and recent speculations suggest that the company will once again produce an innovative phone that will be launched this week.

The highly speculated phone to be launched in a few days is the HTC Bolt. It is said to be somewhat on the same level as Google's latest flagship phone the Pixel XL. According to a presentation by Sprint, the HTC Bolt packs a couple of impressive specs including innovative earphones, a strong camera, and waterproof housing.

The HTC Bolt will join the roster of waterproof smartphones since it is now integrated with IP57. It is said that the phone can withstand being under 1 meter of water for about half an hour. However, the phone is still not meant to be used underwater, which is why users should still be wary of submerging their phones in liquid.

Furthermore, the HTC Bolt will sport a high-resolution 16-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/2.0 coupled with a strong 8-megapixel front facing camera for selfies. What's more is that the HTC Bolt's camera is also said to be capable of shooting in 4K resolution with a 24-bit high-res audio.

The most innovative addition to the HTC Bolt could probably be its new adaptive speakers that is said to have auto calibration features that would ensure the best music quality for its users. The HTC Bolt will also ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack in place of a USB-C audio port.

The HTC Bolt will be coming out of the box running on the latest Android OS — the 7.0 Nougat — and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.

As of now there is still no official news as to when the HTC Bolt will be released, but the phone is expected to be launched sometime this week under the name HTC 10 Evo.
