Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) and the Keating Five are coming back this week with another set of mind-twisting mysteries for the third season of "How to Get Away With Murder."

The previous season ended with a new mystery to solve when Wes (Alfred Enoch) finally found his father only to watch him get killed before his eyes and when Frank (Charlie Weber) was shown admitting to Sam (Tom Verica) that he was involved in the death of Annalise's unborn child.

ABC's recent release of the "How to Get Away With Murder" promo trailer shows the team back together facing a mysterious enemy who's spreading rumors of Annalise being a murderer.

Fans are expecting the new season to shed some light on unanswered riddles surrounding Wes' father's death, Frank's involvement with Annalise's car crash, and the rest of the team's personal endeavors.

As of now, ABC has shown a glimpse of season 3 through a promotional photo showing Wes seriously studying, but much speculation around the photo suggests that Wes might actually be investigating his father's untimely death.

According to Entertainment Weekly, "How to Get Away With Murder" Producer Pete Nowalk, hinted that the answer to Wes' questions will be revealed. "I won't tell you when, but we will find out who killed Wallace," Nowalk said.

Moreover, Nowalk also mentioned in a Yahoo News interview that season 3 will be diving into Frank's background. "Frank plays an essential role in our mystery, so we'll be finding out more about Frank's origin story," he says. "We'll be putting the puzzle pieces together about who Frank is, and what his relationship with Annalise is, and whether they can move on from the betrayal at the end of last season," he added.

Aside from Nowalk's interesting spoilers, new characters will reportedly enter Annalise's circle, including a new boss and a potential new love interest.

"How to Get Away With Murder" season 3 is set to premiere its first episode titled "We're Good People Now" on Thursday, Sept. 22, at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
