Action game "Gears of War 4" is now available for cross-play between Xbox One and PC consoles, making it very playable across both systems.

"Never Fight Alone," is the "Gears of War 4" motto, which is why game developer The Coalition has made "Gears of War 4" cross-playable between Microsoft's Xbox One and Windows 10. The game can now be played from one console to the other with ease.

Because of the cross-play support for "Gears of War 4," players can now start a campaign on the Xbox One and continue playing it on a Windows 10 PC without losing any progress.

What's more is that "Gears of War 4" can now be played with a 4K display because of its high resolution 4K support. However, the 4K supported "Gears of War 4" can only be played on the PC and not yet on the Xbox One.

On another note, The Coalition also released a new server-side update because of player feedback that suggested that the credit rewards were "under expectations." The update will now allow "Gears of War 4" players to earn in-game currency credits easier.

The update increased the amount of match completion bonus credits that players can win from the versus multiplayer mode. What's more is that the cost of an Elite pack has been brought down to 3,500 credits instead of 4,000 credits.

"This should provide a higher and more consistent Credit earn rate across our modes, with the levelling milestone drops of 500 Credits and Credit bounties also helping you on your road to your next pack," The Coalition said.

However, the update still has a few bugs that where the incorrect amount of credits won from a match bonus is displayed. But The Coalition guarantees that players have still earned credits from their matches. Players can check the real amount of their credits by viewing their credit wallets.

"Gears of War 4" can be purchased from the Microsoft Store for $59.99 USD, and the Ultimate Edition for $99.99 USD.
