Filming for "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2" begins later this year, and the film will include Callum Turner as Newt's (Eddi Redmayne) brother. Jude Law also joins the cast, and he will play the iconic Dumbledore at a young age.

Director David Yates and author of the book of the same title, J.K. Rowling, are rounding up their cast members for the filming of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2" this summer.

The sequel will be reuniting Newt, Tina (Katherine Waterston), Queenie (Alison Sudol), and Jacob (Dan Fogler), along with several other characters from the first film.

Variety reports that they will be joined by newcomer Turner to play the role of Newt's brother, Theseus Scamander. However, Yates and Rowling have been keeping quiet about plot details, which leave fans wondering what role Turner's Theseus will play.

However, Yates offered a little insight on what viewers can expect based on Rowling screenplay. The story will "move deeper into an increasingly dark time for the wizarding world, where Newt Scamander and our other heroes have to decide on their allegiances," Yates shared.

Meanwhile, another new member of the cast is Law who will be portraying Albus Dumbledore years before he became the headmaster of Hogwarts, Entertainment Weekly reports.

According to Yates, Dumbledore will be introduced in the sequel when he was still a Transfigurations professor at Hogwarts and a "contemporary of Gellert Grindelwald," portrayed by Johnny Depp.

Before they penned Law as Dumbledore, the studio went through several other actors, which include Christian Bale, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Mark Strong, for the role.

With Law as the final pick, Yates is positive that the actor will bring a different aspect to Dumbledore's personality during this very different time of his life.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2" is expected to premiere in November 2018.
