Last Monday, Normani Kordei dedicated her performance to her band and family for the show's "Most Memorable Year" week. Meanwhile, Fifth Harmony supported Normani on her rhumba performance.

The theme of performances for "Dancing With the Stars" last Monday was "Most Memorable Year," wherein the contestants will look back to the most significant year of their lives and dedicate their performance to the people who made that year special for them.

For Normani, her most memorable year was when she joined Fifth Harmony.

Normani shared on the show that her family believed in her more than she did in herself. Her mother quit her job to support Normani in all her auditions. Apart from her mother, her grandmother also helped in creating all her outfits, while her father worked two jobs to keep them afloat.

All her family's sacrifices brought her to audition in the "X Factor," which led her to the path of becoming part of Fifth Harmony. It was in 2012 when she joined the band and became sisters with Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui, and Normani could not be more thankful.

"I wouldn't be in the position that I'm in without these beautiful girls and I recognize that. They make up [for] all of my weaknesses, and I thank them for that," Normani shared.

To show their support, Fifth Harmony came to the show and performed "Impossible," the song to which Normani and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, danced the rhumba.

Even Chmerkovskiy shared how he is a witness to the support that each of the bandmates of Fifth Harmony have for each other.

"I've been on tour with them for three weeks now. It's a beautiful thing to see them collectively celebrate each other's individuality," Chmerkovskiy revealed.

At the end of their performance, Normani and Chmerkovskiy were given a score of 32 out of 40. It seems Normani is consistent in giving powerful performances, Entertainment Tonight confirmed.

"Dancing with the Stars" airs every Monday night at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
