Chuck (Michael McKean) is not yet done in creating problems for Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk). Meanwhile, Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) might be appearing soon. However, his return might not be too good for the show.

On the next episode of "Better Call Saul" season 3, titled "Witness," Chuck is planning to put his brother in a rut by using the law against him.

"Jimmy and Kim (Rhea Seehorn) hire an assistant. Mike (Jonathan Banks) seeks out a mysterious acquaintance. Chuck uses the law to gain an advantage over Jimmy," the episode listing from AMC reads.

As seen in the episode 3 promo, Chuck is seen telling someone that his brother broke the law, and next Monday's episode will not yet reveal what exactly he is planning for Jimmy.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, series creators Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan shed light on what fans can expect from Chuck this season.

"In the course of season 2, Jimmy got his dream, really, which was to be with Kim, and have an office with her, and to be in her life. And whatever Chuck is up to is a threat to all that," Gould revealed.

Gilligan added that "Chuck is very surprising to us this season." The co-showrunner explained that viewers of "Better Call Saul" will not really expect what's to come for Chuck's storyline that involves Jimmy

Meanwhile, the return of Esposito as Gus Fring is highly anticipated after his appearance was teased by the episode 3 promo, where he is seen asking an anonymous person, "Is there anything else I can do for you?"

However, Screenrant notes that the return of Gus Fring might not necessarily be a good direction for the show because it might take the focus away from the main characters.

"Better Call Saul" airs every Monday night at 10 p.m. EDT on AMC.
