AMD will be launching a new graphics processor that is anticipated to be twice as better, in terms of performance, than Nvidia's Titan X. Meanwhile, performance numbers of the upcoming AMD Radeon Pro Duo have been revealed.

It has been confirmed that AMD will release a new dual graphics processor that is anticipated to be twice as better in performance than Nvidia's Titan X. According to Digital Trends, AMD will roll out a dual Polaris graphics processor with a 32GB mammoth GDDR5 memory known as the new Radeon Pro Duo.

The new dual graphics processor is created with Polaris chips using the same structure as the WX 7100, which will provide advancements in the creation of media and entertainment.

With a total of 72 units that results up to 1.45 TFLOPS, the Radeon Pro Duo can be expected to support up to four 4K monitors at 60hz or focus on an individual 8K monitor at 30Hz. Aside from this, the new Polaris dual GPU enables professionals to multi-task between heavy applications, such as creating 3D materials and editing visual elements.

Apart from the fact that each of the new Radeon Pro Duo cores performs at 1,234MHz and each with a 16GB memory, AMD claims that it is twice as better than Nvidia's closest competing graphics processor, which is the Titan X.

However, Nvidia might still have something that can edge over AMD's new Radeon Pro Duo since the Titan X is no longer their top graphics processor.

Meanwhile, the performance numbers of the upcoming Radeon Pro Duo have been revealed by Expreview.

WCCFTECH confirms that the Radeon Pro Duo was tested on a couple of modern video games which included "Rise of Tomb Raider," "Witcher 3," and "The Division," partnered with synthetic benchmarks such as Lux Mark 2.0 and Heaven 4.0.

Based on the results, the Radeon Pro Duo is the best and fastest card that AMD currently has.

The AMD Radeon Pro Duo is expected to be launched in May.
