Alienware 13 release date news, device updates: great gaming laptop features OLED panel and a dense compact fit for gamers

Dell's Alienware 13 laptop launched last September of this year, and is available for purchase for the starting price of $1,199.99. It's features will ensure that hardcore gamers enjoy an unforgettable gaming experience.

GSM Arena posted the starting price of Dell's Alienware 13 laptop, and the website revealed that it is already available for purchase since its debut in the market last September. For the price of $1,199.99, the Alienware 13 comes with Intel Core i5 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-series graphics, 1366 x 768 HD display, 8 GB RAM and 180 GB memory.

However, interested buyers should note that the price fluctuates depending on the variations that the Alienware 13 has with its RAM, memory storage, display, and processor.

PC World reports that the Alienware 13 weighs five pounds, but it is a great machine that gamers will surely appreciate, especially with its OLED panel. The OLED panel has richer coolers and has improved in saturation and sharpness compared to LCD panels, making them look pixelated and non-vibrant compared to an OLED screen. Aside from the improvement on the display, OLED panels are energy-efficient unlike LCD panels.

Alienware 13 also responds to touch actions, and when upgraded to a NVIDIA GTX 1060 GPU, it supports VR-capable games and videos. The VR-support enables the gamers a heightened experience of the game and a more realistic play on the recently released gaming laptop.

The base frame of the Alienware 13 has an angular shape and appears like chiseled metal, but the chassis material is still mostly made out of plastic with a little bit of aluminum. The structure is rigid and dense, making the Alienware 13 more compact. Given the device's weight of 5.5 pounds and dense structure, the Alienware 13 is sure to be durable and flex resistant.

The Alienware 13 also has a TactX keyboard with "steel-reinforced" keys and RGB lighting, which enables the user to customize the color across the keys, its trackpad, and on the Alienware logo below the display.
