Alcatel has been producing decent smartphones over the years, and recent speculations suggest that the company will be producing one of the most powerful smartphones in the market this 2016.

Alcatel will be producing the Windows version of their Idol 4S, and unlike any other smartphone in the industry today, the Idol 4S will be sporting a powerful Snapdragon 820 processor to back up its Windows 10 operating system.

As for the other features of the Idol 4S, the phone will have a 5.5-inch AMOLED touch screen with a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels and a 534 pixel density. The phone will come out of the box with an internal memory of 32 GB that can be expandable up to 256 GB via the microSD card slot. The phone will also provide its users with a seamless multitasking experience since it is equipped with 4 GB of RAM.

The Alcatel Idol 4S will also come out of the box with a sharp 16-megapixel rear camera that has an aperture of f/2.0 and phase detection autofocus, as well as a dual-LED dual tone flash. The 4S' camera is also said to be capable of shooting high resolution 2160p videos at 30 frames per second. As for its secondary camera, the Idol 4S will have an 8-megapixel front facing camera for selfies. Other features of the Alcatel Idol 4S' camera include geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama mode, and HDR mode.

Alcatel's new Idol 4S also sports a fast-charging Li-Ion 3000 mAh capacity battery, which is said to be a bit small for a phone that sports a 5.5-inch display.

Despite Alcatel's enhancements when it comes to the new Idol 4S, it is said that the phone may not go well against competing brands that also sport an Android operating system. However, the Alcatel Idol 4S is still deemed to be a great phone for its impressive looks.
