When the CBS sitcom "Young Sheldon" resumes on Jan. 4, 2018, Young Sheldon Cooper (Iain Armitage) will make his way to Dallas to attend a school for geniuses just like him.

The 10th episode, titled "An Eagle Feather, a string bean, and an Eskimo," centers on Sheldon going to a new school to fit his mental prowess of 187 mental IQ. According to the episode's summary description, the rest of the Cooper family finds it hard to live without the house genius. This indicates that Mary Cooper (Zoe Perry) and George Sr. Cooper (Lance Barber) will be doing the taxes on their own.

There are no further confirmations if Missy Cooper (Raegan Revord) will be celebrating finally getting her own room.

The next episode will also feature two television stars from another CBS television series. Actress Frances Conroy and Harry Groener from the comedy television series "How I Met Your Mother" will both be guest stars in the upcoming episode.

The next episode will air on Jan. 4, 2018 at 8:30 p.m. EST on CBS. Episode 11 will air on Jan. 11, 2018 and its title is "Demons, Sunday School, and Prime Numbers."

In the previous episode, viewers got to see Sheldon in action during gym class, Sheldon's "Star Trek" fandom, and Sheldon tutoring Georgie (Montana Jordan) in math.

Media Village released its list of Top 25 Programs of 2017. "Young Sheldon" tied with the original series "The Big Bang Theory" at number 7. The entire cast for both series were applauded for their brilliant performance.

The spin-off series outranked a number of critically acclaimed television series like "Ozark," "American Vandal," and "Godless."

"Young Sheldon" is consistent when it comes to ratings. Rotten Tomatoes gave the show a 75 percent score rating and a 7.1 out of 10 score from TV.com.

Many fans are hoping for a second season, but CBS is yet to place its order.
