Four new video games are coming to Xbox Live Gold subscribers this February. Gold subscribers are in for a treat next month with two video games each for Xbox One and Xbox 360 up for free.

First up in the list is the first-person shooter video game "Shadow Warrior" by Devolver Digital and Flying Wild Hog. "Shadow Warrior" is the story of Lo Wang, a modern ninja off to an adventure to take down demons. "Shadow Warrior" received great reviews from video game critics for its extensive storyline, first-person shooter gameplay, and humor. IGN gave the game an impressive score of 8.6 out of 10. The game will be made available for free from Feb. 1 until 28.

Next up for Xbox One is Ubisoft's "Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India" which will be available from Feb. 16 to March 15. The second installment to the Chronicles series of the "Assassin's Creed" franchise was release back in 2016. The India chronicles of the series got a score rating of 63% from Metacritic for its stealth gameplay mechanic.

For Xbox 360 gamers, two racing video games are going on sale for free in February. Disney Interactive's Studios arcade racing video game "Split/Second" will be offered for free starting on Feb. 1 to 15. Sega's open-world racing title "Crazy Taxi" is the last one on the free video games list. The Kenji Kanno video game will be downloaded for free from Feb. 16 to 28.

There were a number of positive feedback from gamers who are excited for the upcoming free video games. One netizen commented on the official Facebook account of Xbox, saying, "For nostalgia sake... I gotta have Crazy Taxi and it's The Offspring soundrack."

There was also some backlash from others about the selection of the video games. There are still no updates from Microsoft nor the Xbox One team about free video games coming to Xbox Live Gold in March.
