"The Walking Dead" season 4 episode 2 titled "Infected" will air tonight at 9 p.m. on AMC.

The official synopsis for "The Walking Dead" season 4 episodes 2-4 are as follows:

Episode 2 "Infected": "The group faces a new enemy; Rick and the others fight to protect their hard-won livelihood."

Episode 3 "Isolation": "A group leaves the prison to search for supplies; the remaining members of the group deal with recent losses."

Episode 4 "Indifference": "The supply mission faces hurdles; the situation at the prison worsens."

In last week's premiere episode titled "30 Days Without an Accident," a record 16.1 million viewers tuned in.

Executive producer Gale Anne Hurd dished on the success of the show to Access Hollywood: "Everyone went absolutely crazy. We're so close, including people who aren't even on the show any more... Everyone said, regardless of what the numbers are, 'This is the best experience of my life and we're all 'The Walking Dead' family.' And then, when the numbers came through, it's just the icing on the cake."

The monster ratings of the season premiere even broke the Breaking Bad's finale ratings.

"The Walking Dead" is an American horror drama television series developed by Frank Darabont based on the comic book series by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard.
