Nintendo's 3D platform-adventure video game "Super Mario Odyssey" continues to dominate 2017 even with the year already over. Amazon recently released a list of its bestsellers from the video game category.

Amazon posted its top 100 best-selling video game products including video games, game accessories, PlayStation Store gift cards, and more. The $20 PlayStation Store gift card placed at number 1. When it comes to video games, the "Super Mario Odyssey" claims the top spot, beating video games like Game Awards' Game of the Year winner "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" and more. The game can be purchased from Amazon for only $54.98. The digital version of the video game is also available for $59.99.

"Super Mario Odyssey" is one of the most successful video game releases not only in 2017 according to both gamers and video game critics. It received perfect scores of 10 from IGN and GameSpot.

The video game won the award for Best Family Game at the most recent Game Awards last December 2017. The sandbox video game exclusive for the Nintendo Switch, however, lost to "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" with the Game of the Year award.

Nintendo dominated Amazon's top 10 best-selling video games with seven entries. Coming in at second is the racing video game "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe," and "Breath of the Wild" for the Nintendo Switch comes in at third. The Wii U version of the Zelda video game took the 10th place. Other Nintendo-published video games in the top 10 list are "Pokemon Ultra Sun," "Pokemon Ultra Moon," and "Splatoon 2." "Call of Duty: World War II" for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One also made it to the list, as well as the PS4-exclusive video game "Horizon Zero Dawn."

"PlayerUnknown's Battleground," "Titanfall 2," and other video games also made it to the top 100 list.
