Warner Bros. Pictures recently released the teaser trailer for its upcoming animated comedy film "Smallfoot." The movie will premiere on Sept. 28, 2018. The upcoming film will be directed by Karey Kirkpatrick, who is known for "Charlotte's Web," "The Spiderwick Chronicles," and "Chicken Run."

The trailer features one human and a family of Yeti. An opening text that reads, "Yeti or not, here they come," opens the teaser. The main character of the animated film, Migo, will be voiced by "Magic Mike" star Channing Tatum. The plot of the movie centers on the life of the Yetis and their curiosity toward the creatures they call "Smallfoot" or the humans. In the movie, the existence of humans in a wonderful and Yeti life is normal. The movie also presents a parallel idea that the Yetis are the ones afraid of humans with their appearance and attributes.

The characters in the movie will be voiced by a group of icons from the filming industry, music business, and sports world. The ensemble includes music icons Common and Zendaya. The movie also hired three-time NBA champion and Cleveland Cavaliers small forward Lebron James as one of the voice actors. Golden Globe winning actor Danny DeVito also joins the cast, as well as "The Late Late Show" host James Corden. The talk show host is the voice behind the Smallfoot named Percy.

Several entertainment publications agree that the trailer packs humor that is well received by critics and viewers.

The initial release date of the movie is Feb. 9, 2018. However, Warner Bros. Pictures decided to move it to Sept. 28, 2018.

There are no further details released by Warner Bros. if the movie will include other celebrities as voice actors.

Warner Bros. has a long lineup of movies to be released in 2018 including horror films, superhero movies, and drama. The company will also release the sequel to the "Fantastic Beasts" movie series next year.
