The latest episode of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" concluded with an emotional NeNe Leakes. This time, the emotions were not a result of the drama between any of the housewives on the show. Rather, she was emotional because of the health issues of her husband, Gregg.

Gregg was taken to a hospital when his heart rate went to dangerously low levels. The situation even went as far as the doctors performing a minor surgery on him to see if there was a blockage in his system.

NeNe was emotional as she quickly raced to the hospital to see him. "I heard his voice on the phone and I knew that he was afraid," she said. "Like, 'If this is the last time that I'm going to see anybody, I need to see my wife.'"

The 49-year-old reality star's mind started wandering and giving her uncomfortable ideas that only made the situation worse. "Oh my God, what if Gregg doesn't come home?" she tearfully wondered.

"What will they find? Is this something that Gregg's not telling me?" she questioned in panic. Nene said she could not imagine a life without Gregg on this earth, so he has to get better.

Gregg has spoken a little about his health earlier in the episode, saying he was experiencing some chest pains, numbness, and a feeling like he was about to pass out.

After feeling the same symptoms for a couple of days, Gregg decided that the best thing to do was to go to the hospital and have himself checked by a doctor. NeNe shared that Gregg's father had heart issues, so he has always thought that he himself was going to have one.

According co-star Cynthia Bailey, even though NeNe was getting emotional about the situation, she may be in denial about how serious Gregg's condition is. "I think NeNe is dealing with the situation with Gregg the best way she knows how to," she said. "She's not the girl that handles any kind of sickness situation well."

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
