The end of the month is nearing, and that means members of the PlayStation Plus subscription service will soon be getting a new list of free games that they can play on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, or PlayStation Vita.
Sony has not released any official announcement about the lineup of free games, but there are some titles that are predicted to make the list.
"Mirror's Edge Catalyst" is one of the games predicted to get included in the lineup. It is an action adventure game released by Electronic Arts last year for the PS4. The game features exciting free-running gameplay and great graphics.
It will also be a great time to offer one of the titles from the "God of War" game series, as a new "God of War" title is set to be released early next year. It is predicted that "God of War III," which was launched in 2010, may be up for a PlayStation Plus free offering.
The new lineup could be announced either this week or in the following week. Based on Sony's recent pattern of announcements, a new lineup is usually not revealed until the last week of the month.
Sony also adds the free games on the first Tuesday of the month. November starts on a Wednesday, so players will most likely have to wait until Nov. 7 before the new games could be enjoyed.
Looking at last month's line up, Sony may have a difficult time assembling a new lineup that would surpass what it offered in October.
Players were very happy to enjoy some great games for free, including the blockbuster hit "Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain" and the "Amnesia: Collection," which contained two great games, "A Machine for Pigs" and "The Dark Descent."
Aside from the free games, subscribers of PlayStation Plus now have free access to the closed beta launch of "Hand of the Gods," a collectible card strategy game themed after gods and creatures of mythology.
