The premiere of the anticipated anime series "Persona 5 The Animation" is closing in. The anime adaptation of the role-playing video game "Persona 5" teased fans with its second key visual featuring disruptive student Ryuji Sakamoto.

Aniplex USA released a photo of Ryuji looking all sporty. "The Persona5 the Animation Ryuji Version Key Visual is out! This key visual features Ryuji Sakamoto sitting in an empty stairwell wearing athletic clothes," Aniplex USA tweeted. Soon after the post, a number of netizens demanded for more, and there are people wanting the anime to be dubbed in English. There are also few comments requesting a key visual art featuring the calm and collected Yusuke Kitagawa.

The first trailer of the upcoming anime series focuses on its main protagonist Ren Amamiya known as Joker in the video game. Ryuji and Ann Takamaki are also included in the first teaser.

No further updates are provided by Aniplex USA nor A-1 Pictures, the company to handle production for the series about its plot. The anime adaptation is speculated to follow the story of the video game with a rebellious group of teenagers in Tokyo. The students will establish the Phantom Thieves of Hearts group to put an end to slavery, immorality, and corruption in the society. There are also no details about how many episodes will be released for the anime.

"Persona 5 The Animation" is scheduled to debut in April this year. Aniplex USA is yet to announce the exact release date of the anime.

The animation cutscenes in the video game are one of the best things in "Persona 5" according to both gamers and video game critics. According to IGN, "The anime-like art style is complemented by full animated cutscenes that are absolutely gorgeous and help to punctuate major story events."

"Persona 5" is one of the most successful video game releases of 2017.
